Intro to Badminton Class Part 2 (Adult, Spring 2026, Mon)

Interested in playing badminton but don't know where to start? This Intro Level group class is a great way to get started! Over the course of 4 weeks, you'll learn from a coach the basics to serve, rally, and move around the court so you can enjoy this amazing sport! In this class, you'll learn about the following different skills:

• Grip position - learn the different ways to hold a racket to perform forehand and backhand swings

• Swing mechanics and timing - discover how different arm movements and contact timing result in a variety of shots

• Movement - learn the basic footwork and body mechanics to be able to efficiently move around the court

• Game rules & play - learn the differences between singles and doubles play, how and where to serve, and get practice in short-form live gameplay

COST: $120.00 (pre-registration offer) or $45.00 (single class rate)

DATES & TIMES - this group class will meet at Cardinal Badminton from 7:30pm - 9:00pm on the following Mondays in June:

Week 1: 06/01 - learning proper conditioning to increase stamina and footwork efficiency

Week 2: 06/08 - learning how to use the different footwork steps to move around the court

Week 3: 06/15 - learning singles game theory and practicing with live game simulations

Week 4: 06/22 - cohort intramural up-down practice games

PAYMENT POLICY - RSVP'ing to this class through this page does not secure a spot in the class.

• After RSVP'ing through this sign-up page, you will be sent an invoice via email to secure your spot in the class.

  • If you do not receive an invoice from us after 48 hours of RSVP'ing, please contact us via email.

• If you do not submit payment upon 72 hours of the invoice being sent and there is an active waitlist, your spot will be removed with the next registrant on the waitlist being moved up.

• Once all RSVP'd spots have been paid for, RSVPs for registration and the waitlist for this class will close.
